400 Years of wine making tradition. The story of Roy Trocard-family starts in 1628, when the they bought their first vines in the Libourne. Since then, in every generation, there was a winemaker to keep going the tradition. Over the years, they built up a family vineyard of 68 hectares spread over 3 and 4 properties AOC Bordeaux: Château Jeandeman AOC Fronsac, Château Laborde AOC Lalande de Pomerol, Château Mancèdre AOC Pessac-Léognan, and Le Piecelle AOC Bordeaux.

GRAPE VARIETY : 90% Merlot – 9% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec
LOCATION : Fronsac
SOIL : Clay, sandy and Limestone
WINEMAKING : Mechanical Harvest and by hand with a rigorous selection at the maximum maturity. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts to exalt the characteristics of the terroir, and a long maceration and fermentation of about five weeks in cements vats.
AGEING IN BARREL : 12 to 15 months on French oak
AGEING POTENTIAL IN BOTTLE : 10 years
COLOR : Intense ruby color
NOSE : Ripe black fruits, blackcurrant Tabaco and chocolate
MOUTH : Powerful and complex with an excellent balance and sweet tannin.
SERVICE : Between 16 & 18ºC.
FOOD PARING : Any red meat, poultry and cheese
