Château Lafargue is a traditional family estate located in the heart of the prestigious appellation of Pessac-Leognan. It produces white and red wines of a very high quality with delicate flavours and great finesse. Its owner, Jean-Pierre Leymarie, has been a member of the Federation of Independent Winemakers for many years, and as such, is committed to producing his wines with respect for the land and tradition.
GRAPE VARIETY : 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc

WINEMAKING : Hand-picked at optimum ripeness, extremely rigorous selections, the vinification de 4 process is done in stainless steel vats with temperature control, pre-fermentation maceration and micro-bubbles.
AGEING IN BARREL : 18 months
AGEING POTENTIAL IN BOTTLE : 10 years
COLOR : Intense ruby color
NOSE : Cherry, toffee, vanilla and chocolate
MOUTH : Rich and structured with a silky young tannin
SERVICE : Between 16 & 18ºC
FOOD PARING : Red meat, poultry and cheese
