CHATEAU LAFFITTE CARCASSET SAINT-ESTEPHE CRU BOURGEOIS
Chartreuse of the XVIII century, surrounded by vineyards planted in the center of the Gravellous plateau of Saint Estephe, the Château Lafitte Carcasset has been producing wine since 1790 when Sir Joseph Laffitte, attorney of the King of France, bought the domaine and created the vineyard. In 1955, the vicount Pierre de Padirac purchased the property. Since then, the vineyard has expanded and many technical improvements has been used for a good breeding of the wine.
GRAPE VARIETY : 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot

WINE MAKING : Fermentation during 20 to 30 days and the wine is aged in barrels for 14 months
AGEING POTENTIAL IN BOTTLE : 10 years

NOSE : Ripe black fruits with spicy notes
MOUTH : Fruity and Harmonious with a refined polished tannin
SERVICE : Between 16 & 18ºC.
