The Château Palatin is the second wine of Château Ferrand Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé, a splendid cellar of 30 hectares located east of Saint- Emilion and belongs to the family of Baron Bich (pen BIC) since 1978. Today the wines from this winery are among the best in Saint-Emilion. They are produced in the purest respect for tradition with a constant search for excellence.

GRAPES : 75% Merlot 15% Cabernet Franc 10% Cabernet Sauvignon 14% vol.
LOCATION : The Vineyard is located nearby Chateau Cheval Blanc.
SOIL : Clay and Lime Stone
VINIFICATION : Fermentation with indigenous yeasts to exalt the characteristics of the terroir, and a long maceration and fermentation of about six weeks in cements vats.
AGEING IN BARREL : 18 months
COLOR : Intense ruby color
NOSE : Ripe black fruits, prunes and cherry with a touch of smoked.
MOUTH : Rich and silk notes of black current marmalade and an integrate tannin.
SERVICE : Between 16 & 18ºC.
FOOD PARING : Any red meat, poultry and cheese
